We were raised in a Christian home in which we watched our mother, Lula C. Dent, carry out Philippians 4:9, 2 Timothy 2:2 and so much more. She loved God, taught His Word, and took to heart what she learned. 

Even though she worked, we watched her feed the hungry, visit the sick, connect others with needed resources, and actively participate in community outreach programs. Her investment in people was instrumental in both individual and community growth and development. 

J.K.R. (Just Keeping it Real) Sistas Corporation was founded and birthed with the passion to likewise carry forth what we saw and learned. We have seen and experienced first-hand how right resources, connections and compassion can change people and build communities.
